  • Hawa Mahal-

It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. It was designed by Lal Chand Ustad as the crown of Hindu Lord Krishna. The exterior of this five-storied edifice is lined with honeycombs of equal size and the palace also has 953 small windows called jharokhas and these jharokhas are also decorated with fine artwork. At that time, women used to go out with nets on their faces and observe the daily life. At that time it was compulsory for women to cover their faces with “Parda”.

  • Amber Fort-

Amer Fort is one of the most important and largest forts in Rajasthan, located on the top of the Aravalli hill at a distance of about 11 km from Jaipur. This fort is famous for its unique architectural style and magnificent structure. It is also one of the majortourist destinations of Rajasthan. The fort has been included in the World Heritage List due to its architectural design and magnificence. One of the major attractions of Rajasthan, Amer Fort was built by King Man Singh. Built in the Hindu-Rajputana architectural style, this unique fort is a unique example of rich history and magnificent architecture.

  • Agra Fort- 

Located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, Agra Fort is known for its unique architecture and amazing craftsmanship. This fort is one of the major historical monuments built in the Mughal Empire. It was also included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO due to its unique structure. This fort is built with red sandstones, so this fort is also called “Red Fort” of Agra. It is also one of the main tourist destinations of India due to its grandeur and charm.

  • Ajanta Caves-

The caves are located 3½ km from Ajanta village in a horseshoe-shaped valley, surrounded by a dense forest. This village is located 106 km away from Aurangabad city of Maharashtra. Its nearest town is Jalgaon, which is 60 km away, and Bhusawal is also 70 km away. In the foothills of this valley, the mountain stream Waghur flows. Ajanta is a monastery-like complex with many viharas and chaityas, built in two phases. The first stage is mistakenly called the Hinayana stage, which is related to the Hinayana school of Buddhism. In fact, the Hinayana site is a word for controversy, in which there is no prohibition in the form of the Buddha.

  • Victoria Memorial-

Victoria Memorial is a famous monument located in Kolkata. It is dedicated to Queen Victoria (Queen of Great Britain). The British Governor General Lord Curzon built this memorial in 1905 in memory of Queen Victoria. This is the pride of not only Kolkata, but the whole of India. Tourists come from far and wide to see this monument. It is a very grand monument. More than 3000 items are housed within this memorial’s museum, including Queen Victoria’s piano and study desk.
